  • Specialized in 9 prosthetic systems. ( for removable and fixed appliances)

  • CSWA, CSWA-A, validated Certificates of Catia Dassault Systemes’ softwares (Mechanical Engineering Drawings and F.E.A. Studies)

  • In the last five years studying Reverse Engineering Softwares following Digital Dental Technology of CAD and simulation systems. Since 2014 dedicated to engineering projects (Assistance in Dental and Orthodontic Mechanical Engineering)

  • Co- inventor in 2 patents related on designing, studying and constructing of Lingual Brackets (with Dr Takis Kanarelis), assistant in other 2 patents with the same Dr, 

  • co- inventor in 3 patents on Precision Attachments in Prosthodontics with SDT Simeon Pitsilidis.

  • In 2016 he organized the 1st Ortho Dental Technician Meeting of 12th ESLO Congress at Megaron Concert hall of Athens (30th of June to the 3rd of July of 2016),

  • In 2025 he participated at the organizing committee of  the 10th WSLO congress at Rome

  • In 2018 he was Co-coordinator of the 1st Digital Orthodontic Congress that was held on the 30th of November to the 1st of December 2018 at Este Castle - Largo Castello , Ferrara, Italy.

  • Prticipated to many articles and speeches worldwide

  • Member of GDTA, ORTEC and OTA associations

  • For the next years hI have dedicated myself entirely to Orthodontic and Mechanical Engineering research, Ortho- Dental Technician work in Digital Technologies, combining diagnostic analysis with digital softwares and targeting in the progress and the evolution of technological systems that will bring new axioms to the rules of biomechanics and orthodontic treatment plans.

About R&D in Orthodontics

Research and development, abbreviation R and D, or R & D, are two intimately related processes by which new products and new forms of old products are brought into being through technological innovation.

 

Research and development is the beginning of most systems of industrial production. The innovations that result in new products and new processes usually have their roots in research and have followed a path from laboratory ideas, through pilot or prototype production and manufacturing start-up, to full-scale production and market introduction.

 

Medical diagnosis, teaching tools, treatment modalities, and surgical technics were improved significantly with the help of digital technology during the last two decades. Digital technology started to make its way into dental and orthodontic offices by introducing computerized scheduling in 1974. Today digital technology has touched on every aspect of orthodontic treatment.

 

Although research is the riskiest financing area because both the development of an invention and its successful realization carry uncertainty, including the profitability of each innovation, we are proud to integrate and participate in many R & D projects that companies and universities successfully lead.
